Girls XC going to the State Meet

Congratulations to the girl's team for placing 4th at the District Meet yesterday earning them a trip to the State Meet in Pasco, on Saturday, November 3.  Congrats to Kelsey Dunn who placed 7 and Lila Rice who placed 12.  Good luck to all the girls at the State Meet next week.

Congrats to the Redmond Mustangs!
A great meet today - First Place to the Varsity girls and Varsity boys teams, the first time in 12 years that first place boys and girls were from the same team.  JV girls came in 3rd and JV boys were 4th - a strong showing and many PRs.  Thank you all for a memorable season!

Yoga continues to be a large part of sports training.  If you or your kids are interested in learning more, Coach Heather recommends a look at this book.  She particularly likes how the author has exercises to pinpoint areas of weakness that cause overuse injuries.

Thursday, 10/11 - Redmond Middle School hosts XC at their home course of Hartman Park.  Come cheer on the 6th, 7th and 8th graders in their first XC season!  Meet begins at 3:30 - in order, Varsity girls, Varsity boys, JV girls, JV boys.  If you'd like to help as a course marshall, email Matt Gillingham (mgillingham@lwsd.org).

Redmond Mustangs last meet of the season at Hartman was a big success.  A beautiful afternoon to recognize our seniors!
