The annual Sun Lakes camping trip was a great success. Thanks so much to the chaperones, parents and team captains all contributing to smooth operations of the event. Running, swimming, resting (very little) and eating great food were on the agenda daily in the idyllic setting of Park Lake in the Sun Lakes National Park. As a newbie to this event, I never imagined the beauty of the topography and landscape of the area. We were blessed with perfect weather: sun, some clouds, some wind but moderate temperatures, only in the 80's.
I hope that all of the athletes attending enjoyed Sun Lakes and will encourage others to join us next year. Thanks everyone for an awesome time!
