What could be better than a beautiful late summer day in Lincoln Park watching a Cross Country meet? Redmond Cross Country had a great debut of their 2009 squad on one of the best courses in the area. Although the course had a slower start and finish this year due to the uncut grass field, Redmond was true to form with top finishers in the Boys and Girls Varsity:
Mack Young 1st, followed by Will Young 3rd and Miles Hille 4th.
Devin McMahon 1st, followed by Hailey Jorgensen 12th and Holly Young 20th.
We have a lot of newcomers on the team that "pr"ed by not only seconds, but many by minutes. Great start to the season!
