Nike Pre-Nationals, Jim Danner Invitational - Results

Girls Team takes 1st Place and Boys Team places 3rd in Varisty Division 1 of the Nike Pre-Nationals, Jim Danner Invitational, Sep. 23 2011 at Portland Meadows, OR. Kelsey Dunn, Maddie Suggs, Michael Gilroy and Riley Harris recognized as athletes of the meet.  Top Finishers for Redmond include:

KingCo Meet vs. Ballard and Inglemore - Results

Girls Team finishes 1st, goes 3-0 in the season; Boys Team finishes ahead of Inglemoore and a very close 2nd to Ballard. Lauren May, Hanna VanHoff, Matthew Aultman, Milo Wilkes, and Matt Amaral recognized as athletes of the meet.  Click HERE for results.

Kirkland Triathalon - Volunteer Service Event & Pancake Breakfast

Over 60 Redmond High School Cross Country Team Members showed up to help at the Kirkland Triathalon Sep17-18, held at Marina Park in Kirkland (25 Lake Ave W, Kirkland 98053).  The Team earned $25 per volunteer (est. $1,500) and the athletes earned community or school service hours.

Thank You to the Kirwan's for hosting a Pancake Breakfast following the Saturday event.

Spirit Pack Orders - due Thursday, Sep 15th.

T-shirts for all team members have been ordered and should come in next week.  Orders for additional, optional Spirit Pack items (sweatshrirt, add'l T-shirts, sweatpants, caps) can be ordered by team and family members on-line through Kimmel Athletics. Spirit Pack items will be available 1st of November.

Tahoma Co-Ed Relays - Results

It was a fun day for all, as RHS Cross Country team travelled to Lake Wilderness Park to compete in the Tahoma Co-Ed Relays.  Redmond Team finished first place. Coffee & Hot Cocoa Fundraiser - SOLD OUT!

All 200 bags of coffee and hot cocoa have been sold!  Raising $600 for the new tent!

Parent Meeting

Wednesday, Sept 7, at 7pm in the RHS cafeteria.  At the meeting, Coach Villeneuve will cover the practice and meet schedule, Expectations and Guidelines for runners, and other administrative items.  The calendar has been updated for all these events and additional handouts that may be of interest to new runners have been posted in the sidebar.
