Seven weeks until our Alumni/Time Trial on August 25 at Hartman Park.
Happy 4th of July! Our optional summer practices begin on Thursday, July 5, Monday and Thursday evenings from 6:00 pm to 8:00 at Hartman Park. We'll meet in the open area between the pool and the ball field. We'll also meet Saturday mornings at the Redmond Watershed - Novelty Hill entrance parking lot. Everyone should have a good base of recovery run miles at this point and our summer practices are a great way to improve conditioning by running with your teammates.
Please see the articles on Locking into Flow, Running with Teammates and the Morning Run Schedule. Morning runs are totally optional and are designed for runners who want to get in additional miles and don't have any history of injuries. These runs are typically for varsity runners looking for an edge and two-a-day runs can increase the mileage base without over-taxing the body. Contact coach Villeneuve if you have any questions.
