Booster Club Welcome & Volunteer Form

The RHS XC Booster Club welcomes parents to the 2013 XC Season.  We hope you will join us at the upcoming Parent Meeting, Wednesday, September 4th, 7pm at the RHS Cafeteria, where Coach Villeneuve will share his plans for the upcoming season, and we will introduce the Booster Club Board, Mission and ways that you may contribute to the RHS XC Program.

Please take a minute to complete our on-line Volunteer Form to let us know how you might like to help this year.

The Mission of the Redmond Cross Country Booster Club is to support the Cross Country Program, Coaches and Athletes by hosting XC Program Events, funding Team Equipment and a T-shirt for every athlete, providing volunteers as Race Marshalls for Hartman and KingCo Meets and snacks for Team Building Activities, and assisting with general promotion of the Program.   The Booster Club also maintains a blog at www.redmondxc.blogspot.com  to help keep families updated on key activities and events.
Whereas the LWSD Fee covers coaches’ stipend, transportation, uniforms and basic equipment, the Booster Club fills the gap as directed by Head Coach, with input from athletes and parents and as approved by the Board of Directors.  Financial goals are to operate as a non-profit organization, at a break-even level each year, with all proceeds being used in support of the Program.  Click HERE for a link to this years' budget of income and expenses.
There are no required Booster Club fees to support funded items and activities; The Booster Club relies entirely on voluntary parent, alumni and community contributions of time and cash or in-kind donations.  To-date, over thirty parents have volunteered or donated items to support our summer activities (Derby Days, Summer Picnic, Summer Popsicles and the Hartman 5K/1K).  We hope that you will consider volunteering or donating items for a few of the upcoming Fall activities.

Key areas where we still need help and the Leads who will be coordinating these activities, include:

Kirkland Triathalon - Jon Foster
Road Runner Spike Night - Pam Legresley
Race Marshall Hartman and Kingco Meets - Betsy McAlister
Hospitality Tent at Home Meets - Lynne Aebi
Bagels and Fruit at Weekday Meets - Angel Averman
Freshman Flapjacks - Erika Vissee
Photographers - Rosemary Langford
Web Site Contributor - Diana Wagner
Booster Club Planning and Administration - Kate Dunn

The Booster Club Board welcomes your questions, feedback and input to the budget and activities. Thank you for your help in support of our student athletes.
