Redmond Mustang XC | Week of October 23 2017

The season is winding down and Redmond XC had an extremely strong showing at the King County League Championship last Saturday at Lake Sammamish Park.

Boys Varsity - 2nd place to the #1 ranked team in the State
Girls Varsity - Kingco Champs!
JV Boys - 1st Place
JV Girls - 1st Place with a perfect score

Best finish of the day for any 2A/3A School!

Saturday the 28th is the District Championship Meet at Lake Sammamish Park again. Athletes meet at RHS at 8 am. Boys race at 11 am, Girls at 11:45 am, awards at 12:30 or 12:45. Bus should return to RHS between 1:45-2 pm.

The Top 4 3A Kingco teams will meet the Top 8 3A Metro teams.

The Top 5 teams and Top 35 individuals will qualify for the State Meet on Nov. 4th in Pasco.

Bonus Contribution for Booster Club
As reported last week, the Captain Jacks Treasure Run 5k is offering a $20 contribution to our booster club for every volunteer (up to 15) from RHS. 


Thanks to one of our members, Tricats Consulting will kick in an extra $10 for each volunteer (up to $150 max).  This is a great opportunity to support our community and the Booster Club.  Funds help support pasta parties, t-shirts and more.  Please volunteer and help our Booster Club get $450!!!  We have 11 volunteers signed up - only 4 to go!

Team Banquet
The end of season banquet is scheduled for November 7 at 6:00 PM in the RHS cafeteria for all 2017 XC participants, their families and fans.  We will celebrate season highlights, give out awards, and enjoy each others company on last time as a team.

What to bring:  whatever you provide, please be sure to bring it ready to serve and stay delicious.  This means you need to include serving utensils and find a way to keep it at the appropriate temperature (hot or cold).

If your last name begin with:
A-B:  Dessert for 6-8 people
C-K:  Main dish for 8-10 people
L-O:  Bread and a beverage (milk, juice, sport drink)  No soft drinks!
P-Z:  Salad (green or fruit or pasta) or veggie dish or fruit platter

Attire is dressy casual.
