Redmond Mustang XC | Week of November 6 2017

Thank you for attending the 2017 Redmond Mustang Cross Country awards banquet and celebrating together the fantastic achievements of the 2017 XC season. The team slideshow / video is posted here.

The season may be over but there are a lot of great local races coming up in the next few weeks.  For example, the New Balance / Super Jock 'n Jill Winter Grand Prix series kicks off on Saturday, December 2nd at Magnuson Park in Seattle (link here).  The series includes 2 road races, 2 XC races, a track race, and a finale runners with at least 3 finishes in the first 5 races can participate.

Additionally, the folks at Orca Running are looking for participants and course monitor volunteers for the upcoming Hopelink Turkey Trot 5k on November 19.  Orca Running will donate funds to the Redmond XC Booster Club for every person who volunteers to help out.

If you aren't doing a winter sport, and you are not a State athlete needing another recovery week, it's time to begin running again.  The winter conditioning plan is available for viewing and download here.  The off season is a great time to get stronger and improve flexibility, form and cadence.  Coach is always available to answer any of your questions.  Be sure that you don't over train or race too much!

Congratulations to the entire team for a terrific 2017 season!
