Sun Lakes Captain's Retreat

When: Thu-Sun, August 8th-11th 2013

Thunderstorms rolled through Eastern Washington, causing Campers to take shelter on Saturday evening.  But all managed to find a place to bed down, and awoke early on Sunday morning for a final relay race and photos, before heading back to Redmond.  Thank you to our chaperones, drivers, and Captains who helped to plan and carry off this great event.

About Sun Lakes: Sun Lakes is a camping trip for runners committed to cross-country the upcoming fall hosted by the captains with the help of their parents and other chaperones. The campground is located 3-4 hours from Redmond in a Central Washington state park. This hot and dry climate is a great place for team bonding, swimming, and of course a few light runs.
